Arroyo Lupine
Hello Friends,
Per an online search, ... "Likely Species: Arroyo Lupine (Lupinus succulentus), also known as the hollowleaf annual lupine. It features vivid purple-blue flower spikes often distinguished by washes of white or pink on the upper "banner" petals. This species is an annual wildflower native to California, Arizona, and Baja California. It is noted as the largest of the annual lupines, typically growing between 2 to 4 feet tall."

After the relative ease of subduing Venezuela and coming to terms with the same people who were in charge there before, I can't help but feel Trump thought Iran would be more of the same. People on most sides of the political spectrum have wanted to see regime change in Iran, but Trump's impromptu war with them has opened a pandora's box of predicatable and awful consequences, ... predictable, that is if the Trump administration employed smart and capable advisors instead of slicing up and gutting out our intellegence community. Bombs away! What could possibly go wrong?
I'd also dearly love to see republican leaders who approved and are continuing to support Trump prisons spend a week in one. The creation and rapid expansion of these concentration camps is one hell of a way to acknowledge that the we are a country of immigrants. Bad food, unclean water, measles, tuberculosis, tearing families and communities apart, inhumane treatment and even homicide. This is who we are now in the USA, and just as every day Germans had to come to grips with their compliance with the Nazi regime, we will eventually have to deal with this.
Wishing for better,
Barry Rothstein
